The Admin section is where you set up the foundation for person‑centred, integrated care on Careteam. From here you can:
Configure your organization/program “Place” (name, logo, timezone, etc.)
Control who has access and what they can do (roles & permissions)
Build shared libraries (resources, tasks, forms, check-ins, etc.) to drive efficiency
Create Action Plan templates to standardize pathways and decrease variation in care
Keep everyone aligned with Announcements and Emergency Instructions
Maintain oversight with the Audit Log Viewer
Go to Admin (top navigation) → you’ll land on your Place settings and see the left-hand menu for Users, Libraries, Templates, and other utilities.
1) 🏷️ Set up your Place (Details)
Organization/program name & email
Language, timezone, address, phone
Logo (you can update this anytime)
2) 👥 Manage users, roles & access
Invite new members (name, email, role, title/department optional)
See who’s been invited, their role, invitation status, and last login
Edit roles/permissions (e.g., Provider, Provider w/ Desk Messaging, Manager, Admin access, Intake Receiver)
Disable access for users who have left the organization
3) 📚 Build and maintain your libraries (the efficiency engine)
Populate once, reuse everywhere. Start with the 80/20 rule: what 20% of items cover 80% of your population?
Available libraries:
Resource Library (websites, links)
Document Library (PDFs, Word docs, etc.)
Video Library
Check-in Library
Task Library
Appointment Library
Form Library
Tag Library
Each library has its own knowledge base article—link them for deeper how-tos.
4) 🧩 Create Action Plan Templates
Use pre-populated libraries to quickly assemble geography-based, condition-based, or program-based pathways
Standardize best practices; reduce variation
There’s a dedicated KB article on Creating Action Plan Templates—link it here
5) 📣 Announcements & 🚨 Emergency Instructions
Announcements: Share important updates with your team
Emergency Instructions: Configure what patients/clients see in secure messaging (if enabled)
6) 🕵️ Audit Log Viewer
Visibility into system activity for governance, compliance, and troubleshooting
Decide roles & permissions early to avoid back-and-forth later
Centralize common assets in libraries—don’t let teams reinvent the wheel
Start small, iterate fast (PDSA): pilot a few templates, measure, improve
Review the Audit Log periodically for compliance hygiene
Disable accounts promptly when staff leave
