The Status Updates block keeps your whole care team aligned without needing extra messages or meetings.
It’s ideal for:
Sharing non-urgent updates with your health team
Making sure new team members have full context
Communicating across shifts and organizations
Keeping sensitive updates private from patients/families
Unlike General Information, this block is visible to healthcare providers only.
Go to the People tab
Select the patient and open the relevant Action Plan
Find the Status Updates block on the dashboard (location may vary based on your layout)
You’ll see:
🛈👁️ Health Team Only – this icon confirms it’s private to the care team.
📝 Add non-urgent updates
Click + Add, type your note, and save
New updates show a “new” flag (✨) when others log in
After 3+ updates, click “See All” to view the full history
🧠 Use as a running log
Perfect for notes that future or rotating team members should see
You can edit or delete your own notes—but not others'
🔐 Keep internal updates private
Clients and families cannot see this block
It’s a trusted space for staff-to-staff communication across organizations
